Pass me the salad dressing and memories, please!
A friend (roots from Newport Beach) posted this on Facebook...'this' is a recipe for Coco's Parmesan Salad Dressing. Coco's is/was a casual restaurant in Newport Beach. And back in the day, everybody fell in love with their salad dressing. Coco's Parmesan Salad Dressing -1 c mayo -3/4 c buttermilk (you can make this yourself by setting the milk out for 5-10 minutes. Then add 3/4 tbsp of lemon juice or white vinegar to the milk. Then let it set again for 5-10 minutes.) 1/2 c milk 1/2 c grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 c cider vinegar 2+ cloves garlic...crushed 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tsp Dijon mustard 1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper 3/4 c sour cream. So tonight I made it. And it was pretty good! Food does bring back memories: who you were with, what you did before or after going out to breakfast, lunch or dinner; the troubles you faced at that time (were they really there...or just a figment of my imagination?), how would you finagle your way to stay out lat
