MAKE IT EASY...plan on coming by!
You may want to glance at my Alameda real estate blog...The Second Story
Here's a sampling:
-Tax webinars (at least 2 of those) because I need to know how the tax reform laws affect me, and what I need to tell my clients in generic terms: they must see their accountant, I'm not qualified.
And I actually attended a tax seminar in person...4 hours! And I bought the CD's as well. These are the folks that try to figure out how the real estate professionals can take advantage of the 'tax benefits.' The woman who lead this was terrific and had been doing it for years. I used to subscribe to their service over 10 years ago. Now.... I'm back!
-Financing for Rehab Homes Webinar (this instructor may come in person if I can arrange a class for this subject). I listened to it 3 times in 2 days! It was really good!
-Instagram webinar (who cares how many 'likes' you get). These guys were selling their wares for those of us who don't want to do Instagram ourselves. I had it on as background noise, while I was working on something else. Not impressed. These guys sound like bad comedians.
-Hosting Events webinar (how do you draw folks to your event?)
!I say you need to make it easy for them to come
!I say make it easy so they can escape
!I say make it easy for them to stay (if they want to).
!I say put a start and an ending time on it
!I say make it FREE!
!I say feed them a light snack (in the morning I buy donuts, fruit, and juices)
!I say give them something free! I've been giving my guests (and their friends) a huge, durable bag, that folds up to a 12" square, and then they can advertise for me when they go shopping.
!I say.........
I have an annual Shredding Party....it runs 9-noon on a Saturday, rain or shine, March 31 (next month). . .it's my 11 annual Shredding Party!
Come sit down, inside or outside. We can catch up on the A-town news.
Come by! Dump and Run! or Dump and hang out for awhile!
And if you are reading this, and we don't know each other yet...come on by. Introduce yourself to me. Normally you would pay $8 per box. I pay for everything. You pay nothing!
Makes me smile, and I hope it will make you smile, too!
Live richly...and shred your stuff into bits! marilyn
